IN-HOME TRAINING/INSTRUCTION

Personal Strength/Fitness Training:
Homebodies employs only those certified fitness professionals meeting our high standards in terms of education, experience, professional conduct, and personal integrity.
Yoga and Pilates Instruction:
Our Yoga and Pilates Instructors undergo programs of intense study and instruction to qualify for these very specialized certifications. Homebodies Instructors will teach you proper form in order to prevent injury and encourage consistency in order to progress and succeed in meeting your health and fitness goals.
Fitness Coaches/Instructors:
If you are interested in biking, running, swimming or any other form of fitness training and exercise, Homebodies will find just the right fitness professional to meet your needs. Many of our personal trainers hold a variety of certifications including kick-boxing, tubing, aerobic training and more. We also have a cadre of free lance instructors we call upon when a client requests specialized training outside the scope of our staff (i.e., bi- or triathlon training, power lifting, etc.).

WELLCOACHING

Athletes, performers and high level corporate executives all work with our coaches in order to improve their skills—education, practice, and accountability are essential components to our programs. With the knowledge and support of a Wellcoach, you will master the skills and behaviors required to take charge and make the lasting changes necessary to create ease with your health, vitality and overall sense of “feeling good”.

HEALTH & FITNESS SPECIALTIES

Massage Therapy:
Homebodies offers a variety of bodywork techniques including Swedish Massage, Shiatsu, Acupressure, and Sports Massage. Bodywork complements our personal training program—revitalizing and soothing sore muscles, enhancing cardiovascular function, increasing circulation and reducing recovery time from injuries. It relieves tension, induces deep relaxation and lowers stress levels.
Nutritional Counseling:
We have found that the most successful approach to eating and maintaining a healthy weight is one geared to improvement—not perfection. A Homebodies Nutritional Counseling Specialist will develop a comfortable program specifically detailed to making better food choices.

OUR PROGRAMS

Homebodies provides whatever you need to get and stay fit—whether it’s a personal trainer for one or more sessions a week, a combination program including personal training and nutritional counseling, or a program combining all the services we offer. Homebodies will design a program specific to your goals, requirements and preferences or you can select from our menu of pre-packaged programs.
BE YOUR OWN FITNESS TRAINER©:
If you are interested in learning a fitness program you can practice on your own using proper form, this package is right for you. It consists of a health assessment and three in-home training sessions. After your assessment, the fitness professional you’re assigned will design a preliminary program specific to your current level of fitness, preferences and goals. The remaining sessions are used to teach you the program using proper form and to be sure you are comfortable practicing the routine independently. This package is best suited to individuals who are self-motivated and disciplined
BRIDAL PACKAGES:
We will design a program specific to your requirements, insuring that you’ll look and feel your best on the big day. The process of planning a wedding is both exciting and stressful—your Homebodies fitness professional will design a program that will help you sleep better, increase your energy, and keep you calm. The most beautiful brides are those that are well rested, relaxed AND energized … all by-products of a program of consistent and reasonable exercise.
PRE- AND POSTNATAL PACKAGES:
As soon as you know you are pregnant, you must work to improve or maintain your health and fitness. A routine of regular exercise during pregnancy may provide for a smooth delivery, a healthy baby and a speedy recovery—not to mention getting back to your normal weight. With the approval of your physician, we can provide fitness professionals trained and certified to work with pre- and postnatal clients. You can be assured your Homebodies fitness professional will pay close attention to strengthening your back and knees, avoiding injury and protecting both you and your baby.
